The way the world learns to dive!

As the only Instructor Development center on Santorini we are able to offer a range of courses to get you started teaching diving and beyond. The Instructor Development Course (IDC) consists of two parts: Assistant Instructor (AI) and Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI). These can be taken together or separately and successful completion of the whole program enables you to attend an Instructor Examination with PADI. IDC duration is approximately eight days. To participate you must be 18 years of age, be a certified PADI Divemaster (or PADI Assistant Instructor for separate OWSI course) or have an equivalent certification and have at least 100 logged dives.

We also offer continuing education programs for Instructors, such as specialty instructor training and the IDC Staff Instructor course. This year we will run IDCs in May and September, with all continuing education programs such as Staff Instructor, MSDT preparation, EFR Instructor and others available throughout the year.
